Ed, a co-owner of Buckley and Buckley Real Estate is also a third generation broker, his family having had a brokerage firm in Connecticut. Ed understands how to help people through the sale process yet make it an enjoyable and fun experience. He can add an Islanders perspective of Bainbridge which only comes from the wonderful experience of living and working here since 1980. He loves fishing and boating, both of which can be enjoyed year round here in the Northwest.

I rarely send thank you notes to brokers. However your efforts in helping me and my buyers successfully close the Ferncliff house was invaluable.
Please know that your flexibility & willingness to "problem solve" was much appreciated.

My husband and I spent almost a year looking at houses on Bainbridge Island with Ed, Maureen's other half in life and in real-estate. Ed and Maureen were SO patient and knowledgeable. They told us when something I was really interested in wasn't a good fit for us and why, they helped us with the mortgage process AND they even helped entertain my 2 year old as we looked at house after house! Eventually when I was due with our 2nd in just a few months, we had to pull the trigger and Ed got us in contract with a house that Ed found for us which met EVERY one of the top criteria on our list. Ed and Maureen were so incredibly honest and forthright with us that I knew whatever advice they gave me I could take to the bank. Their experience in the industry and their desire to make it happen and make it right is nearly unparalleled. I have family in the industry and I STILL chose to work with Buckley and Buckley. That is a real testament to the quality of their work. Hands down I'll use them again or refer them to anyone in need of a home here on Bainbridge. They are one of the reasons we felt we made the right decision to move here. They embody all that is wonderful about this little island! Friendly, professional, caring, knowledgeable, honest and reliable. Thank you Ed and Maureen...from the bottom of my heart, thank you!
Maureen & Ed Buckley made the sale of our Bainbridge Island rental house possible. They were instrumental in preparing the house for sale by getting us in touch with skilled and qualified tradesmen. By means of extensive advertising, agent contacts, and open house days our property received maximum exposure. The Buckley's efforts paid off when we accepted an offer. It was through their diligence that the buyer came to realize the true value in our house. The Buckley's kept their eye on the prize, namely the sale of our house and provided invaluable info so that the appraisal was done correctly and that escrow closed. I would recommend the Buckley's unconditionally to anyone seeking to buy or sell a property on Bainbridge Island.
Ed spent hours and days over a six-month period while we searched for a home on Bainbridge Island. We were consolidated our homes in Seattle and So. California into a new house and professional help was a must. Ed was always available and when we finally found the 'perfect' one' he continued walking us through the purchase and inspection process. There was never any pressure only good solid direction and advice and he was there or available for every appointment or meeting if we requested him. In addition he had a good resource list of recommended trades to help us as we settled in over the weeks following move in.
He and Maureen are long time agents and residents of Bainbridge and have a wonderful business with a competent staff to assist.
Happy to call Bainbridge home since August 2011.
